You don’t need a screenshot of an entire website every day. Therefore, it can be annoying to install an extra app or browser extension (for example GoFullPage) to do this. Fortunately, you can also do this using Google Chrome’s built-in dev tools.
open dev tools:
Mac: ⌥ ⌘ i (cmd opt i)
Win: Ctrl Shift i
open search in dev tools:
Mac: ⌥ ⇧ p (cmd shift p)
Win: Ctrl Shift p
type screenshot in the search field
choose: Capture full size screenshot
the screenshot is saved directly to the default download folder
Downside:
may not work properly with web apps such as LLMs
