[solved] Play game on MacBook on external display

Gaming on MacBooks is slowly becoming a bigger topic. I have a few titles in my Steam library that now also work well on the Mac. But what is often a problem is displaying the game on the external monitor.

Make your external monitor the primary display:

Connect the second monitor
Open System Preferences and navigate to Display
select the Arrangement tab.
You’ll see both screens displayed – one with a white bar at the top
click and drag the white bar from your laptop screen to your external monitor
Release to set the change
Your external monitor is now the primary display
Launch your game on this screen
